Hi I’m Svitlana Chechel, a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. My therapeutic philosophy revolves around the interconnectedness of the mind and body. Through various modalities such as somatic therapies, behavioural interventions and cognitive approaches, we collaboratively address trauma and mental health concerns that may have accumulated over time.
I firmly believe in equipping individuals with a diverse set of tools to navigate challenges not only within therapy sessions but also daily. Together we’ll work on meeting your specific needs; if you are ready I am here to support you.
In my approach, I prioritize addressing all concerns rather than merely chasing symptoms, emphasizing the integration of mind and body through somatic work, behavioural interventions, and cognitive techniques.
To facilitate lasting change, it’s essential to address underlying factors. This involves retraining your nervous system to access the rest-and-digest mode of your parasympathetic nervous system, clearing out background patterns. Ultimately, the goal is to help you reconnect/integrate with yourself on a deeper level to reach homeostasis.
Hi, I’m Natalia Vyzhol, a Registered Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through trauma, emotional challenges, and relational dynamics. Since 2012, I’ve been helping clients understand how their subconscious patterns, lived experiences, and nervous system responses shape their daily lives and relationships.
My Background & Training
I began my career in Ukraine, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2009. Soon after, I pursued advanced clinical training at the Gestalt Psychotherapy School in Ukraine (2011–2014). When I moved to Canada, I continued my professional development at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, graduating in 2021.
In addition to my psychotherapy training, I became a Professional Life Coach in 2018 through the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching, which allows me to integrate both deeper therapeutic work and practical, forward-focused support.
I am currently completing a Master of Divinity in Counselling (Clinical Track) at Tyndale University. This training enhances my ability to offer holistic, integrative, and evidence-based care to clients with diverse needs.
